Everything in this picture was picked out of mills in the vicinity of southwestern Pennsylvania in the past 4 years or so. Included are insulators from Bethlehem Steel, J&L Steel, Copperweld Steel, and the Pressed Steel Car Company (among others). My good friend Tom Slobodnyak was instrumental in the acquisition of most of these. Without his persistence, much of what you see here would have already been destroyed and buried. I'm very thankful to have been able to preserve this local history!
