This piece I just got from fellow collector Barrett Nicpon is a really neat porcelain cleat piece. For some reason these were widely used in Canada but not in the U.S. We used wire holders and secondary rack spools. Canada used these two types of insulators too but the cleats are mainly found in there country. Other than the prievious ones I've posted, this one is marked P.L.E./2001. I'm sure the 2001 is the date of manufacture but the initials are unknown. There are some other manufacturers of Canadian nature that I'd love to find info on. Pieces marked Hayes, L.C. Dunham, Remington, Manitobia Bridge, Henley, and J.E.M. Co. I would love to find info on the manufacturers of these. Thank you for looking. Take care stay safe and be well to all. |
