Up for grabs is a set of three unmarked Canadian Porcelain-made U-2239 signals. Brown examples of this style are abundant across much of Canada, but these colourful examples saw more localized, limited use in a few areas. There are some variations in the profile of this style, but most agree that it's probably easiest to just lump them into one U# and let the specialists agonize about the different profiles. I agonize about that all the time, but I won't try to force anyone else into it.

At left is a drippy light blue example. These light blue glazed examples were often used on neutral circuits and turn up in several parts of Canada. This is undoubtedly the most common of this set, but the nice drippy glaze makes it a bit nicer than most. This one is VNM.

At centre is a dark cobalt blue glazed example that saw service in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. It's a striking colour when lit by sunlight, and this one has some lighter patches at high points around the wire groove and crown that let some lighter blue spots show through. It's VNM as well.

At right is a nice rich green example with abundant fine black spots in the glaze. This one is an earlier CP style with a squattier profile and a deeper more sharply squared off wire groove and ridge. It has an unglazed pinhole. The dome top has been slightly sanded and there are a few small glazed over flakes on the sharp lower wire ridge. Overall I'd say it's NM, but it has a few very small flakes on that same sharp lower wire ridge. Unfortunately this earlier style is prone to them.
