Bought a box of what I call " dead people " photos at the WABASH show Aug 2 just to get this photo.

Photo of DENVER & RIO GRAND R.R. in Royal Gorge sometime in the late 1800's. Famous photographic spot that I have seen many times and was there in 1965.

This passenger train is heading west along the Colorado River with the consist being pulled by one of the narrow gauge steam locomotives.
