The Yankee Pole Cat Insulator Club decided to reinstate this award after a hiatus of many years without presenting it. It probably stopped when Kevin Lawless passed.

The award features a New England Telephone and Telegraph Company bracket and spool.

This year's winner was the combined New England Telephone and Telegraph Company display managed by Al Klaus.
