LEFT: W. Brookfield CD 136 EIN 40. This insulator has the TWO backward "N"s (one in the N.Y. and one in JAN). It has the 1870 patent date. On the rear crown is a "2". The price guide lists this EIN40 at $125 to $150 (maybe the double error is hard to find). The insulator is VNM with a few baby flea bites. There is bubble close to the base that is open to the inside of the insulator and some wire wear/residue in most of the wire groove. B&O is for Baltimore & Ohio. SOLD RIGHT: PRR on the dome (for Pennsylvania Rail Road) with B on the skirt CD 162.5. It is a dark aqua. There is a ping to the back skirt (circled on photo) and three white mark flea bits elsewhere. The ping is hard to see when back lit. $15 plus shipping. USPS now offers "Ground Advantage" within the USA. Shipping which maybe considerably cheaper than the medium flat rate box. I will calculate shipping and get the lowest rate. |
