Electric Locomotive L-401 "Frank Weissman" is a Baldwin-Westinghouse 40 ton unit, built in the 1915 era. It is a real workhorse and spent almost all of it's time with the Anaconda Co. at the zinc mine in Black Eagle, near Great Falls Montana. This loco runs on 600 volts DC, which we supply to the trolley wire from a modern A.C. to D.C. rectifier-converter.
