In 1980 while taking down the open wire lines in Virginia. I came across an old fence post with 2 A T & T Co 190/191 tops. One was green and the other a very nice sky blue with very thick glass. But the farmer had busted a hole in the top for his electric wire. So I decided to keep it and make it a bottom piece hoping some time to find a matching piece for a top. I wanted to find the matching thickness and color. That piece apparently came off a Bell toll line near Hillsville, Va. 45 years later following a Facebook Marketplace lead 15 minutes from my house. The lady said her grandfather was a lineman for the Concord, NC Telephone company and had kept a few insulators. She had about 6 A T & T Co tops and one matched perfect. The busted piece hole was a half inch diameter so I used a plastic pipe for a pin. So 45 years later I found the top I was looking for!
