A great find I got a few weeks ago was this rare Dimond Bridle Wire Insulator. In my whole collecting hobby of 39+ years I never thought I would find one of these. These were used to create a dry spot on the line to reduce interferance and crackle. This one is a nice SCA (sun colored amethist), though you can't tell too much in the picture. It's a small thing that's only 3 3/4" high by 1 1/4" width. It's marked on the top PAT APPLIED FOR. I'm so glad the person who had this kept the lengths of wire and didn't snip it off flat. This is the first one I have ever touched but have read about them in Crown Jewels magazine years ago. Simply awsome!
