Another great find I found was another rubber cast elephant from Continental Rubber Works Erie, PA. They are marked Vitalic Products which was there line of bicycle tires etc. The one I had posted years ago had a yellow painted blanket on it's back. This one has a red blanket and a slightly different mold. I'm assuming there was probably a whole set you could collect with different colored blankets. The elephant represented there logo "Tougher Than An Elephants Hide" to describe the strength of there rubber products. Maybe I can find some more friends for these two in the future.
