This insulator is a CD 125 embossed on the front; "HEMINGRAY W. U. No 5" and "PATENT MAY 2 1893" on the back. It is a swirled purple color with patches of sage and gray in the dome. It is in nice condition with a 5/8" fingernail chip on the front edge, 3 other flaked drips, and some minor wire wear in the wire groove. This is a very cool color piece that is hard to find.
