I recently acquired a group of insulators from some casual collectors that picked them up while traveling overseas. Amongst the group was this U-1831 with A.U.P. incuse embossed on the side of the crown. This is the first insulator of any kind that has been reported with this embossing. Has anyone else seen another? Or does anyone happen to know anything about who made it or what it stands for? It has British style threads, so it is likely European in origin, but I have no background information on it unfortunately.
