CD 114 Hemingray and U-57 Macomb Look-Alike Sold

Here two look-alike glass and porcelain insulators. On the left is a CD 114 EIN [010] (F-Skirt) HEMINGRAY/No 11 (R-Skirt) PATENT MAY 2 1893 SDP in Blue Aqua. It has a pinpoint tic on the dome, short wire rubs in the upper groove, and a small shark-fin chip at the base of the right mold line. On the right is a dry process U-57 with MACOMB embossed on the front side between the grooves. There is a chip at the upper groove in front, a smaller one at the lower groove on the right mold line, and two spots on the dome where the glaze did not adhere during firing.
