Happy new year to all! With the start of this year I'm trying to undertake some culling in my basement, so I'll be posting a few pieces for sale in the coming day or two. Here's a great-looking CD 162.4 unembossed Canadian "snow cone" in a rich blue colour. This one is absolutely full of wispy to broad milky swirls throughout. It has a 2.8 cm long large bubble behind the wire groove on one side, and also has an unusual amount of surface whittling and straw marks all over. It's a crude one that looks awesome overall. I've done my best to capture the milk swirling throughout, but I don't seem to be able tor really capture them properly. The bubble is marked with a red arrow in the view second from left. This one is in good condition overall, but does have a couple small upper wire ridge nibbles, and one larger 7 mm flake on one side (visible in the far right view). It also has some roughness and a few small flat flakes on the sharp inner base edge, though these are possibly from the manufacturing process. Lastly, it has some surface annealing lines on the crown, again possibly from the manufacturing process. How about $190 USD plus actual shipping cost for this one? I have a long-standing want list of Canadian-made porcelain posted, [id=505519866; please click here to see it]. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items. |
