While I was on the subject of Kearney sold insulators, I have been lucky to find several different styles. Kearney had several patents issued for the horned wire holders. The first 2,099,098 in 1937, the second 2,155,189 in 1939 and the third 2,295,872 in 1941. These covered the horned shape, hole design and a flexable lag screw on the bottom. Most of there insulator parts were made by Wisconsin Porcelain Co. while the Canadian issued pieces were made by Hamilton Porcelain Co. Ltd. Canada. The third piece and seventh piece in the picture were Canadian issued units. I was also lucky to locate an ad showing the horned lag screw insulator. Love that knowledge. If you have any different Kearney pieces for sale or in your collection, I would love to see pictures of them.
