New addition to the Brookfield pony collection! It is a rich green that has a subtle yellow influence - a great color for a CREB pony by itself, but the presence of steamy swirls throughout really sets this one apart. The swirls hide a bit when backlit, but really come to life with under-lighting. I had seen this piece in-person at the Logan National last year, where I had hoped to strike a deal, but the pony changing hands then and there didn't seem to be 'in the stars'. When this same piece appeared in a recent Poletop auction, I was excited to get a legitimate shot at it. To my surprise, I ended up winning it for considerably less than expected or what I would have offered given the opportunity. Sometimes the stars align and work out for the better!
