This municipal light department worked around the clock to restore electricity to customers affected by our recent wind and rainstorm. The town has plenty of trees, especially pines which can be really problemsome! Not only are they brittle, they easily burn when live wires rub into them! Despite a great many outages throughout the town's service area, almost all customers have been restored 36 hours after the storm subsided.
