I've installed hundreds of windows and doors over the years. I have a small collection of old locksets and hardware. Usually the customer wants to keep the cool glass knobs. I acquired this glass knob today from a 100+ year old house, I haven't seen this profile before. It basically never happens anymore, usually the old locksets have been replaced with modern hardware. Most of this old glass has a green fluorescence when exposed to UV light.
