Here's a fine go-with for anyone interested in the broader view of telegraph history. These paper telegrams are both variations of those used by the Montreal Telegraph Co, and both share a similar header but with very different font and slightly different dates of January 2nd, 1873 and January 18th, 1875. There's nothing too exciting in the subject matter contained within, but you might find them a nice go-with if framed on the wall next to a display of Montreal CD 143s or M.T.Co. CD 742s.

Both have some creases and tattering. The example at right is more faded and a bit tattered on the left edge, but overall it's pretty solid.

I'm asking $33 USD including shipping by letter mail for the pair. I'm always happy to trade for early Canadian glass or Canadian-made porcelain insulators. I have a long-standing want list of Canadian-made porcelain posted, [id=505519866; please click here to see it]. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items.
