Here's a pair of different profiles that these "N.W." blotout G.T.P. TEL. CO. CD 145s can be found in. Both are a similar light aqua colour. At left is the narrower mold style, the same as that the purple G.N.W. TEL. CO. CD 145s are found in. I always loved the way this blotout combination looks, as the recycled "TEL CO" letters are thin like on the purple G.N.W. CD 145s, but the "T.P." letters they've embossed over top of the blotout are very thick, crude, and heavy. This one has an 8 mm wide fisheye on the rear crown, and another about the same size on the rear skirt. There's also a tiny flake on the first "T" in the embossing. At right is the more traditional "chunky" Canadian CD 145 mold. This one has a small fleabite on the rear crown but is otherwise VNM. Its inner skirt is somewhat underpoured and quite crude. I'm asking $15 USD plus shipping for the pair. I'm always happy to trade for early Canadian glass or Canadian-made porcelain insulators. I have a long-standing want list of Canadian-made porcelain posted, please click here to see it. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items. |
