Porcelain spool that was made in 1948 in Japan during the US occupation. Saw service in Australia. No chips, cracks or dings. Ink stamp is in excellent condition. Nothing is known about the manufacturer that used the "National" logo. This logo is often seen on 1154's but rarely on these spools.
