This very unusual insulator is a mounting pin and insulator in one and made to a WWII Nazi Era patent. This U number was published in the December 1994 issue of Crown Jewels of the Wire and a few examples gave fetched over $600 in catalog auctions. I can say with confidence there are less than a handful known in collections in the US. The insulator has a small pinky nail sized flake on the bottom of the bracket portion and a longer 2" shallow chip on the bottom of the insulator skirt. The insulator is being sold with scans of the Auma catalog and patent information. I am asking $385 plus shipping/insurance to the US. Check, money order or PP friends please. |
