I've always liked these oddball embossing and mold variants that the Canadian CD 154s can be found in. At a glance they blend in with all the common ones, but like many of the Hemingray 42 embossing errors they can be VERY difficult to find. At left is a DOMINION - 42 CD 154 in the [030] EIN with sharp drips, in a light peach-straw colour. The narrow inset along the right side of the above image shows the shape of the drips. These are MUCH harder to find than the typical RDP version, and they also seem to be much more prone to damage because of the sharper drips. This example is NM with just some light scuffs on the rear skirt and in the wire groove and ridges, mainly on the left side. $18 USD plus shipping for this example. At right is a DIAMOND CD 154 in the [070] EIN with RDP. This example, like all that I've seen, is a deep peach colour.. The smooth-based version of this embossing is very easy to find, but this rounded drip version is much harder to find. Like the SDP Dominion, these are also hard to find in good condition as the shape of the wire ridges makes them highly prone to wire ridge damage. This one is VNM with just some extremely minor roughness around the outer base edge mold line. $30 USD plus shipping for this example. I'd accept $40 USD plus shipping for the pair. I'm always happy to trade for early Canadian glass or Canadian-made porcelain insulators. I have a long-standing want list of Canadian-made porcelain posted, [id=505519866; please click here to see it].
