I've got a serious lineup of Diamond CD 152s here. When one gathers enough of these things up, one begins to see just how many colour variations actually exist in this and most other Diamond styles. I'm certain that some of these colours are as of yet unlisted, but I'd struggle to even give some of them proper names. These examples are, from left to right: 1.) Peach. A distinctly different colour from the much more common straw shade, with a sort of rosy pink hue. One of the hardest colours to find in this style, as far as I know. They do they do turn up in "pockets" from time to time like so many scarce Canadian colour variations. This example is VNM with no visible damage that I can see. 2.) Straw. This example has a small rock embedded in the front lower wire ridge. VNM with just a tiny flake off an irregularly shaped open bubble on the dome top. 3.) Light yellow green, or maybe light lime green. Distinctly yellowish green tones but quite a light shade, this is another one that does turn up often. One tiny 2 mm flake on the inner skirt but otherwise NM. 4.) For lack of a better description, I'll just call this one "light green". 2.3 cm of thick dome glass that give it some added character. One 3 mm BB ping on the rear skirt but otherwise NM. I'm asking $ 60 USD plus the cost of shipping for this set of four. If purchased with the other set of four I'm posting, I'd be happy to see all 8 examples go for a total of $90 USD + the cost of shipping. |
