Here's a great-looking pair of the somewhat difficult to find Diamond CD 164. While Hemingray and Brookfield were producing and exporting huge numbers of these CD 164s, Dominion just seemed to fall behind in the early years of this style's production and we really don't see all that many of them in Canada. At left is a sort of "typical" light green example, while a right is a lime green shade that is actually remarkably similar to the 1678 I just posted. Both examples are in good shape, but both have one small flake that I can see. The light green example at left has a tiny 3 mm tall flake on the rear base edge, while the limey green one has a 3 mm flake on the right base edge. Overall both are nice-looking examples with minimal damage. I'm asking $45 USD plus the cost of shipping for the pair. I'm always happy to trade for early Canadian glass or Canadian-made porcelain insulators. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items. |
