After reading Elton Gish's excellent article on wall tubes in this issue of All Insulators magazine, I thought I would post some pictures of my collection. Eltons article focuses mainly on the early manufacturers of glazed tubes but after the 1920's wall tubes were made standard sizes and many manufacturers produced them. Usually the tube is the same and the top part (head) may be changed. My collection contains the old and the newer standard styles. From left to right glazed tubes Akron Insulator and Marble Co. marked A.I. & M. Co.on top edge, love the wild colors on these, next marked incused star, and last marked Standard on top lip.
