Here's a beautiful CD 154 Dark Emerald Green blackglass insulator with round drips embossed TRANSMISIONES [front] ASTURIAS [reverse]. An official Spanish military division repaired old power lines in the small region of Asturias that were destroyed during the country's civil war from 1936-39 using these insulators. These were originally found in a wooden crate packed in straw in an old barn in Spain. Has large dimple at top of pinhole.

Has base chip and lower skirt bruise, 5 tiny tic marks and one sliced drip otherwise excellent condition.
