Here are two Bains breaker insulators and the N0.8 & No.9 breaker insulators made by Pass & Seymour. Don't know who made the Bains ones because they are not marked and in later years became the No.35 standard porcelain strain so a number of people could have made them. They measure1 1/2" X 1 1/2". The smaller P & S breaker insulator is marked Pat'd Jun 14 92/ No.8 P&S and measures 1 1/2" X 1 1/2". The larger one is marked P&S on one ear, APP'L on the other and FOR in an arc on bottom. It measures 2 1/4" H X 2" W. In a catalog page I'll show you, they also marketed the large one as a tree insulator too.
