I don't know if the title is actually the case, but while my family was driving along the 401 (largest highway running across south western Ontario), I was staring at the high voltage lines running along a stretch of low maintenance country road, and I noticed that several of the poles had side pins on them, some still with insulators on them! SO, I convinced my dad to take a detour to check it out. He found an exit, and we managed to find the road. I snapped a couple photos. This is one of a group of side pins still nailed to the side of one of the poles. The side pins ran for 2 poles on one side of the highway, and then the lines ran across the highway, right beside a bridge.
