Hundreds of thousands of rural residences, farms, businesses, etc., were connected to electricity thanks to federal funding that supported this project throughout the United States. This effort commenced in the 1930s and a great many Americans got to enjoy the benefits of having electricity whereby it was previously nothing but a dream.
