What is with these drip points?

I have this H G Co 162 in which the embossing looks to be a cross between prismatic and script, i say that because of the loopy 2 which I usually associate with the script era, however it is all clearly embossed in the prismatic style.

The main question that i have is regarding the drip points. Some of these drips look almost flat. The piece as a whole is a bit more squatty and slightly slumped. I do not see any evidence of post production altering of the drip points. there are no cutting or sanding lines on the points at all. I am wondering if the piece was taken out of the mould and flipped over too early and the weight of the piece in the semi-molten state that it may have been in caused these drips to round/flatten out. I am looking for some opinions as to what some of you might think. Thanks for any feedback,

Eric
