In 1899, Fort Wayne Electric Works purchased the Fort Wayne Electric Company, who commissioned the 162's from Brookfield. Whether or not this photo has anything to do with Ft.W.E.Co., I have no idea. Still pretty neat. The company was sold to GE in 1911.
