Here's a great pair of Diamond 102s that are a cut above the average. At left is a double vertical bar / Diamond unit with faint Diamonds and a flared skirt - I've never been sure if this is considered a diamond blotout or not, as the embossing is quite strong. I'll leave that up to you to decide. It's a great lavender-tinted steel grey colour and it has a healthy bit of dome glass to accentuate the colour. NM condition with just an open bubble on the outer base edge and a tiny fleabite on the lower wire ridge of the same side. At right is a "modern variant" Diamond 102 with a great vivid light yellowish straw colour and lots of microbubbles/fizz throughout. This one has a number of tiny scattered fleabites and some scuffs on the crown and skirt but is otherwise in good shape. It does have some heavy wire groove scuffs in the rear. How about $15 each or the pair for $25 USD plus shipping? I'm always happy to trade for early Canadian glass or Canadian-made porcelain insulators. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items. |
