Hello to all. Just wanted to share some new finds I picked up recently. The first is a strain insulator with ABC stamped on it. It stands for A. B. Chance Co. So far I've only seen this marking on Suspention insulators and this strain. Next was a double treat. A spool with the ICB (Industria De A Islodores Casa Blanca) Company marking and the FWC (Florida Wire & Cable) Company marking. Both are based out of Jacksonville Florida and Florida Wire & Cable Co. used or distributed ICB insulators. The next spool is a Line Material Co. with an unusual marking pattern. It is recessed embossed on the bottom: LM in a triangle/ 684 (catalog number)/ L (unknown)/ WP (wet process). I have two other spools with these unusual marking pattern one has LM/ U.S.A./ U (Universal Clay Products. The other ME (McGraw Edison)/ U.S.A./ U. Last is a Line Material Company marking I'm looking for. I call it the swoosh obviously because the catalog number is recessed embossed in a swoosh and the LM marking is on the other side. I've seen a couple of these but no luck getting one. Besides Line Material and Porcelain Products, I think Joslyn Mfg. Co. has the most different marking patterns I've ever seen. Really neat stuff. Sorry for the grainy photos. My camera is old and I'm getting there. Take care to all.
