Both of these were found along the Pittsburgh and West Virginia Railway. The shorter one on the left was on a hillside below the ROW a few miles east Of Avella, Pa. It is in rough condition as most of these are. Bruises, slices, chipped drips, etc. The taller unit on the right is a different story. I found this laying on the hillside in the middle of suburbia in Castle Shannon, Pa. Spotted it from nearly 25 feet away and recognized it instantly as a CD 196! You are actually looking at the damage. It has two halved drips and a tiny mark on the wire groove above the "G". The upper drip points on the back are underpoured and rounded. Easily VVNM for this CD. One of these days I'll get around to cleaning the soot off the drip points!
