Got these autovalve arresters many years ago from a fellow ICON member who told me they were removed from a line in central Maine back in the 90's as part of the upgrade from low to high voltage. Probably from the 30's or early 40's. Does anyone know the reason for the unusual colored caps? Think they are somewhat rare but not sure how many are out there.
