I was going to pass by this particular one-owner shop that I'd already been to recently without finding anything, but as I drove passed, I saw the sign that said "End of Season Sale," so I turned around to take one last look before next Spring. Am I glad I did! The lady had just acquired a barn find of a large cache of mostly SKEB ponies that she said came from an old barn in the Madison/Anson area. As I began to look through them, I noticed one with a mold line over the dome {MLOD}. And then I saw another . . . and another . . . and by the time I had looked over the hundred or so insulators, I came up with these two dozen examples plus another one that's still in the cleaning process (plus several other less-sexy items as well). I didn't have my book handy, but I later found them to be EIN [290] (F‑Skirt) BROOKFIELD (R‑Skirt) NEW YORK {MLOD} SB. They're all Light Blue Aqua and vnm or better. (The dark Hemingray Blue CD 162 in the photo just happened to be in the cleaning batch, but it makes a good color comparison.) A few of these are for sale here. [id=673414893]. Other inquiries welcome.
