Here are a pair of different 2-part insulators in use in Eastern Oregon. The right-hand crosstops have a large "V" under the top. From pieces I've found on the ground, I thought the left ones were crosstops, but from the photo, it looks like they aren't...I'll have to take the binocs next time.
