DeLand, FL, 1905. 4-pin Double Crossarm Pole Utilizing Browns' Pony Insulators.

These insulators were mounted on special pins such that the upper insulator was mounted in the usual manner while the Browns' pony type attached to the lower section of the (same) pin. This method enabled twice as wires to be attached to a single insulator pin. The Browns' pony insulators were threaded with an opening on each end. This line construction style was never too common, probably because of the Browns' insulators and special pins required.
