Here's a great B No. 44 with a huge amount of character, maybe more so than usually encountered in one of these. This one has a fairly dramatically off-centre pinhole which has lead to one side of the dome slumping over. The wire groove is much narrower on one side than the other, and the skirt even has a bit of a dimple where it has creased from the added weight on that side. The light to medium aqua glass is also absolutely full of amber wisps that give the piece more of a saturated green aqua tone. The Canadian Pacific Railway used a lot of these B No. 44 CD 145s here in Ontario. Lots of them do have character like this, but finding one that's really exceptional is still tough to accomplish.

The condition on this one is good, apart from a 5/8" long open bubble on the left lower wire ridge right at the mold line. I'm not sure if this one is from the factory or not.

I'm asking $50 USD plus shipping for this one. I'm always happy to trade for early Canadian glass or Canadian-made porcelain insulators. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items.
