I have obtained some insulators from a Danish friend, and will post some pictures of them here. First out is an odd piece. This small insulator is just over 2 inch in diameter, and is unmarked. It seems to be made of dry process porcelain, and sports a distinctive criss-cross pattern on its surface. It is used where a drop-off is to be made to a house or street lighting. Its hanged on the wire by the upper clamp, and the drop-off line is attached at the lower clamp. A thin fuse wire is mounted between those clamps, and acts as a fuse.
