Here's a hard to find CD 154 Asturias (front) Transmisiones (reverse) in Emerald Green Blackglass! Has large dimple in the top of the pinhole. These were used during the Spanish Civil war in 1936-39 to replace damaged insulators in the small region of Asturias. Most were ruined in the war. The glass used to produce these in wartime conditions was not carefully made. Thus they have annealing cracks and lines on the surface, especially around the drip points (similar to those made by Denver glass insulators) [id=662596231]. Tiny skirt crack, small wire groove bruise, 3 drips are damaged, 1/2 pinky nail wire groove flake, 5 tiny tic marks and a small bb ping. Displays great! Here's a chance to add a tough CD 154 to your specialty collection for only $125 shipped. Thanks! |
