Here's a small group of lightning rod insulators and one bracket I've had around for years. These don't really fit my collection any more and may be in better hands with someone else. I found the badly broken tealy side tab example at left in a dump behind an early general store in a little town called Napier, ON back in the mid 2000s. The centre example is a common aqua piece that has a 1 1/4" base flake, and the early oddball one at right came from a bottle collector who found it in a dump here in London, Ontario years ago - it has a few lower edge flakes, including one 3/8" wide that runs from the base to the wire groove. I dug the bracket in a bottle dump in Strathroy, Ontario well over a decade ago. I'm asking $15 USD plus shipping for the set. I'm always happy to trade for early Canadian glass or Canadian-made porcelain insulators. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items. |
