Here's an oddball: a Hemingray CD 106 in the [145] EIN with "HEMINGRAY" blotted out behind MADE IN U.S.A. on the rear skirt. I found a number of these in an accumulation of telephone insulators in the Almonte, ON area several years ago, but have never come across this embossing combination anywhere else. This one is a nice light Hemingray blue. The condition on this example is excellent for one of these, with only 5 tiny drips partly flaked, and a few tiny fleabites on the dome top. This is without a doubt one of the best ones I was able to find, as the insulators had been stored unwrapped in large bins and this did quite the number of some of them. I'm asking $15 USD plus shipping for this piece. I'm always happy to trade for early Canadian glass or Canadian-made porcelain insulators. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items. |
