A nice pair of specimen, but still mostly intact, Wade-type threadless. These came from the late Bob Roosevelt's collection. Bob had spent a lot of time digging on various lines throughout Ohio. The CD 723.3 is marked "LS&MS Rt #4 - W - 1" on a piece of tape, while the CD 723 has no markings.

Both examples have large chips that remove most of their bases, though better than 80% of both remain present. I had them displayed on a pin for several years and enjoyed them that way. Both also have sizeable flakes running up one side, likely associated with being dug up by farm machinery or heavy equipment at some point.

I'm asking $250 USD for the pair. I'm always happy to trade for early Canadian glass or Canadian-made porcelain insulators. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items.
