These heavy gauge copper wired CD 164s were used on low voltage distribution throughout some of the older suburbs of London, ON. Back in my earliest days of collecting I was lucky enough to know a few linemen who were actively taking them down and I was able to have a small percentage saved with original wire still attached. This example is a SDP Brookfield CD 164. It's full of snow and microbubbles, and has a backwards '9' or '6' on the dome top.

Unfortunately the condition on this example isn't the best with around 2/3 of the drips chipped, and a 3/4" inner skirt chip on the left side. This one is more about the tie wire anyways and the damage doesn't distract much.

I'm asking $20 USD plus shipping for this example. I'm always happy to trade for early Canadian glass or Canadian-made porcelain insulators. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items.
