The twice weekly train from Union, MO to the Saint Louis area trundles across Creve Coeur Creek. Just to the left of the picture was one of the very few poles standing between Saint Louis and KC and had a trio of buckshot peppered Continental Rubber Works R-4s. These were liberated in 1985 as now laughable, but then very exotic additions to my fledgling collection. At the time the line was owned by Southern Pacific.
