Want a go with to your insulator collection. Here are four Oakman embossed Feb 27, 1877 demijohns. These were developed at the Lyndeboro Glass Company (1866-1888) in Lyndebough, New Hampshire by Samuel Oakman. The embossed patent is around the applied neck. Lyndeboro also did the wicker on their demijohns. The demijohns measure about 15 inches in height. From left to right; * Wickered bail style with original wood handle $80.00. // A beautiful green but does have a chip on the lip that is covered by it's original cap (most difficult color to find in the Oakman's) $65 because of the chip. // Aqua with the bail grooves that you don't see all that often $80. // The last is a wicker style with good wicker $70. I can send other pictures if needed. Plus the actual postage to your home. PayPal friend/family please. You can pickup in Connecticut or on Cape Cod to save the crazy postage on these big bottles.
