Here's an old circa WW1 radio antenna assembly complete with 4 colorful baby porcelain egg strains- 2 olive greens, one bright green and a scarce turquoise blue. Three strains are woven together with hemp fibers. These were used in Germany's mobile telegraph battalions for quick assembly of radio antennas. Each egg measures 1 1/2" long. The assembly is 15" long. Excellent condition with no chips! The white spot on the turquoise is where glaze did not adhere to the porcelain and is not damage.
