I have very fond memories of this line as a kid since we went to Cape Cod beaches often. A roadside rest area on the way on a hill provided a splendid view of this telegraph pole line and railroad tracks lower down which was a real treat for this kid to look upon while having a snack! The copper wires had an extra-nice green patina to them... from their exposure to the salt air. It is possible this photo was taken from the forementioned rest stop. This line worked its way to a split whereby its northern route went to Provincetown (at the tip of Cape Cod) and the other leg went down to Wood's Hole. I hiked many miles of its routes after it was decommissioned in 1967-1968.
